It’s 2025. So much to reflect on. 2024 was a beautiful and great year for us, this time 1 year ago, we were deciding whether to launch ahead of Valentine’s Day or not. We decided not to and wait until March. We launched our business, website, the Originals collection for the first time March 4th 2024.
The feeling of clicking that “Publish” button, it made our website come to life, and wow – we received orders! As the owner of this business, I, Natalie, had no idea what I was getting myself into. This life and journey is intoxicating.
What I did know and decided to focus on was, community. The community was number 1 for me. Meeting everyone, having that face to face time with potential regular customers… getting to know you all was incredible.
For 2025, we are going to be slowing down on attending as a vendor/seller at Farmer’s Markets or other community-like events. While I loved meeting you all, hustling for the events for 9 months is quite a lot of work. North + Ash Candles may appear at a few markets, this year but not as many as we did.
Our direction will be solely focused on digital marketing and more social media campaigning. This is the best way to scale out and up!
With all this said, THANK YOU. Thank you for an incredible first year. 2025 is going to be epic. We are branching out into custom party favors – Weddings, Birthday Parties, Retirement Parties… you name it. We will customize your label to your liking, candles are perfect as party favors.
